NoSite NoProblem

Privacy

This site collects almost nothing. Here is exactly what it does collect, why, and how to get rid of it.

What the form collects

If you fill in the contact form, I receive what you typed into it:

  • Your name
  • Your business name
  • Where you're based
  • Your email address
  • Your phone number, if you chose to give one. That field is optional.
  • Whatever you wrote in the message box

That is the whole list. There are no hidden fields collecting anything else.

The form posts to this site's own address, not to an outside form service. Two companies handle the message on its way to me: Cloudflare, which hosts the site and runs the check that keeps robots off the form, and Resend, which turns the submission into an email and delivers it. Neither of them uses it for anything of their own.

The check above the send button

There is a small box from Cloudflare Turnstile above the send button. It is there so the form cannot be used by scripts to send junk. It looks at the browser making the request, not at you. It sets no advertising cookie, it doesn't follow you anywhere, and it doesn't build a profile. It appears on the contact page and nowhere else.

So the form can't be flooded, the number of messages sent from one internet connection is counted. The address that connection came from is never stored as itself: it is turned into a one way code that cannot be turned back into an address, the code is what gets counted, and it is deleted about an hour later.

What I use it for

I use it to reply to you, and to work out what I'd build for your business if that's what you want. That's it.

I don't sell it. I don't share it with anyone. I don't add you to a mailing list, because there is no mailing list.

Cookies and analytics

This site sets no cookies. Not one, for anything.

The only measurement on the site is Cloudflare Web Analytics, which counts page views without cookies and without building a profile of you. It doesn't follow you to other sites, and it can't identify you personally.

There is no Google Analytics, no advertising pixel, no social network tracker, and nothing here that follows you from one site to the next. That's also why you aren't asked to accept anything.

How long I keep your message

I keep form messages for two years, then delete them. If we end up working together, I keep what I need for the business relationship for as long as it lasts, plus whatever period the law requires for records like invoices and contracts.

How to have your message deleted

Write to hello@nositenoproblem.ca and ask. You don't have to give a reason.

You can also ask to see what I hold about you, or have something corrected if it's wrong. I reply within 30 days, the period Quebec law sets.

If you aren't satisfied with the answer, you can complain to the Commission d'accès à l'information du Québec.

Who is responsible

Under Quebec's Law 25, every business must name a person responsible for the protection of personal information. For NoSite NoProblem, that person is [LEGAL_NAME], reachable at hello@nositenoproblem.ca.
